You Could Be Saving Over 90% in Training Costs and Time

Imagine you run a company where your ICP is literally every business. Might sound like a dream for your growing market share demand. But this is a nightmare for your sales department, that needs enough knowledge, training, and skills to confront virtually every single customer profile and, even worse, an almost infinite amount of objections.

This might not be the case of your company, but it is the case of every CRM company out there. And what took nine months of training was cut down to two weeks.

That’s a 90%+ reduction in time.

Now, imagine your sales reps gaining domain expertise 10x faster, and maybe even better, being able to warm up fully async and at scale without risking losing a real prospect. And what would that mean for your operational costs.

They could be handling real cases with real prospects almost instantly after starting at your company and they could also warm-up with virtual prospects instead of choking it with real ones on the line.

That’s what Hyperbound is offering through a simple, intuitive interface. Users can start practicing with AI conversational agents with just a few clicks, which immediately demonstrates the product's value without a lengthy setup process.

Check out our full podcast episode where we expand on how this is possible. We also touch on broad AI concepts like the solving real problems with AI, rather than simply following hype, and some cool predictions in the conversational AI realm throughout 2024.

Unspoken Insights From WWDC24

This past June 10th Apple held its WWDC24 conference, which was packed with new announcements.

The announcements made it clear that Apple’s positioning towards AI intends to be different than anybody else's. Interesting enough, they achieved it in one sense but totally failed in another. Here’s why:

  • They still want to avoid using the term “AI” or “Artificial Intelligence” as much as possible on the announcements that they make. Instead, they’ve coined a convenient alternative by presenting “Apple Intelligence.”

  • At the same time, many announcements are nothing new for AI enthusiasts or any Google user on their Pixel phones that are already enjoying AI features like photo edition, smart search or writing assistance—so not much new stuff from Apple.

Impact on Startups and Competition

Once again, when a tech giant makes a move, hundreds of startups die.

All the startups that Apple killed today like Grammarly, Mid-journey, Humane and the Rabbit R1, just to name a few...

We’re talking about interacting and taking actions with all apps interconnected across your devices in an intelligent way. Check out the announcements of WWDC24 and Apple Intelligence in 5 minutes videos for better context. They are the condensed version of all that you need to know from the conference.

And basically they will provide all the functionalities across all Apple devices, supercharging the experience for the user while making it feel natural, simple, and intuitive.

Which leads us to our next point:

Market Position and Data Leverage

The truth is, these tech giants can take so long to announce what everyone already knows. The reason why: data leverage.

The leverage Apple, just like Google or arguably Microsoft, has is orders of magnitude greater than ChatGPT's or any other AI app.

We’ve been using their hardware and software since forever now, and that’s something very few other companies could potentially leverage right now.

So when the Apple’s of the world release new products or upgrades on them, they may not be the most crazy innovation of the world that blows people’s minds, but there’s a very high chance that adoption will be massive and therefore consumer behavior also changes over time.

🏆️ GOLDEN NUGGETS
  1. Apple devices are now AI devices. They run AI models locally without internet or data sharing, using your private information to get context-aware assistants.

  2. When requests exceed the in-device intelligence, they go to data centres that follow Apple's commitment to privacy. These are larger and require an internet connection, but they still maintain privacy through encryption.

  3. While they are now leading the way with embedding context-aware AI models inside devices, they are lagging behind what models like GPT-4o can achieve and perform, so that’s why in these cases you can opt into using these third-party models.

Keys for Integrating AI with Increased User Retention

While many announcements of the WWDC24 are coming by this fall, that doesn’t mean you and your steam shouldn’t be already preparing and building for the next wave of AI.

Now that Siri is omnipotent, it is an absolute must to act accordingly.

Integrating Siri with App

Apple's announcement at WWDC 2024 underscores a critical shift for development: the integration of AI capabilities through Siri is now a core pillar to consider.

Imagine you have a to-do app and Sarah, one of your users tries to use Siri to mark a task as completed by saying, "Hey Siri, mark 'Buy groceries' as completed in my to-do app."

If Siri responds "Sorry, I can't do that in your to-do app." it’s very likely that Sarah will get frustrated, disengaged and potentially delete your app and go with the competitor that has integrated AI into Siri.

Business Impact of Not Updating the App
  1. Decreased User Base: As more users expect Siri integration, the to-do app without this feature sees a decline in its user base.

  2. Lower App Store Rankings: With fewer downloads and negative reviews, the app's ranking in the App Store drops, making it less visible to potential users.

  3. Revenue Loss: If the app operates on a freemium model or includes in-app purchases, the decline in active users directly impacts revenue.

So what should you do?

If your company are developing iOS or MacOS apps, it’s paramount to delve deeper into SiriKit and App Intents to avoid obsolescence.
